New Book from Homeschool Graduate

Jason Krumbine, son of Marcy Krumbine and son-in-law of Renee Mason, recently released a new all-ages book, The Castle Sisters and the Impossible Rescue. Here’s what he has to say about it:

This book, and subsequently the series I’m launching out of it, already holds a special place with me. You see, I really do have two nieces named Faith and Summer. They both love to read and are constantly enamored with the fact that their Uncle is an author. I really wanted to be share this experience with them, so back in February my wife and I started brainstorming a new series that I would specifically write for my nieces. It was originally intended to be just a birthday gift for later in the year, but as I started working on it, I realized that this was going to be too much fun. I couldn’t possibly wait to share this story with my nieces. And I didn’t. I told them this past Sunday. To say they thought it was pretty awesome, would be to put it mildly.

I tried really hard to make this an All-Ages book. Yes, it’s written for kids, but I want adults to enjoy reading it, too. I mean, there’s nothing worse than reading a boring book to your child, right?

When my nieces asked me to describe the book to them, I said it was kind of like a comic book, but without the pictures. Their eyes lit up at that description and I think it’s a pretty apt one. There’s plenty of adventure, thrills and excitement in this book.

I really enjoyed writing this book and I hope you guys enjoy reading it.

The Castle Sisters and the Impossible Rescue is currently available for the Amazon Kindle and the Barnes & Noble Nook. If you have a different kind of ereader, you find a compatible copy of the book at the Smashwords link. A printed edition is also available for purchase here.

Faith and Summer Castle are the ultimate crime fighting duo.

And they’re not even old enough to drive.

Faith has the super smarts and Summer brings the super brawn.

When their Uncle gets kidnapped by the evil Agent Dark the Castle Sisters find themselves facing their greatest challenge yet.

The forces of darkness are gathering and the battle between good and evil has reached a pivotal turning point. Agent Dark has stolen a secret formula that could give him the ultimate control. With the sisters’ Uncle out of the way, no one stands between Agent Dark and the end of everything.

Not only does the fate of the world now hang in the balance, but the sisters must pull off what will almost certainly be an impossible rescue.

Why should you attend The Households of Strength Seminar?

Because God will use it to change the course of your life for the better.

God’s will for your family-household is so good and so wise, all you have to do is see it and you will want to live it. Eight fast-paced sessions, full of humor and insight, have been designed to turn your family back to the goodness and wisdom of God’s plan.

If you and your family are drifting through this time of rapid technological and cultural transformation without the firm biblical convictions that serve as an anchor for your souls, you are likely to lose your marriage, lose your kids and lose your way of life to forces beyond your control. It’s that serious.

But God has provided a New Mayflower by which you can not only survive, but thrive. It is your household managed in the light of God’s Word. If you trust God enough to actually obey Him, you are His ambassadors, and your household will shine as a light in the midst of the darkness as an embassy of His kingdom.
